2011 World Series 2-Disc DVD Set and CONTEST!!!

It’s finally here, the official A & E Home Entertainment/MLB Productions 2 DVD Box Set of the 2011 World Series Champion ST. LOUIS CARDINALS!!!

Now, the DVD set comes out on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 with the World Premier at the Peabody Opera House in St. Louis and if you are in the area and want to buy tickets, just click the link and buy away. It looks like it’s going to be a blast. But perhaps you would prefer to stay home, since the weather is getting colder, and watch the DVD set from the comforts of your couch. The good news is that you can purchase the DVD set from A & E Home Entertainment and the MLB Shop! It’s a very good price for hours of enjoyment and cheaper than taking a loved one to the movies with you, not to mention (though I am going to anyway) the fact that you can watch it over and over again and relive some of the best moments from one of World Series in many years. There is also a trailer that you can check out.

I know, Christmas is right around the corner and some of my readers may need to save their money for Christmas presents, but still really, really want the box set. Well, A & E Home Entertainment/MLB Productions have given Steve and I the opportunity to give away 3 sets! That means that three loyal readers will win a DVD set, free of charge, shipped directly to your door step!

So, what I am going to do is ask three questions, the answers can be found in previous blog posts here on STL: Fear the Red. So here are the rules:

1. Answer only ONE question. Each winner will have answered one question separately. Once a question has been answered correctly, that question can no longer be answered. Also, please say what question you are answering, simply for clarity (though not typing the question will not keep you from winning, I just would prefer it).
2. The first person to answer a question correctly will win the DVD set.
3. You MUST answer the question in the comments section so that the first correct guess will be clear to everyone.
4. Once we have verified a correct answer you will need to EMAIL me your address, so that I can pass the information on to A&E Home Entertainment/MLB productions so that they can send you the DVD straight to your home.
5. Steve and I have final say on the winners. I have tried to set this up in such a way where it will be clear who the winners are, so I hope there will not be any issues.
6. By answering the question and sending your home address to us, you are authorizing us to pass your info on to A&E Home Entertainment/MLB Productions SOLELY for the purposes of sending you the DVD set.

• What color and make was the vehicle that Steve rode in for his first trip to a St. Louis Cardinals game?
• What grade did Steve and I meet in?
